Most teachers fix your sound. I fix your performance.

A beautiful voice is only half the job. Musical theatre demands that you tell a story, connect to lyric, shape a phrase with purpose, and make every moment feel genuinely alive — all while hitting the notes, staying in rhythm, and making it look effortless.

Most technical voice training treats singing and acting as separate disciplines. They're not. I've spent my career — as a writer, a Music Director, and a coach — understanding exactly how they work together. My lessons reflect that.

I describe myself as the auto mechanic of the voice: I can hear with unusual precision what needs to shift for better resonance, vibrato, placement, and freedom — and I can apply that diagnosis directly to real material, not abstract exercises.

01

Voice Technique

Pitch, breath coordination, resonance, vibrato, tone, placement, and range — addressed at the source, not the symptom. You'll leave every session with changes you can actually hear and feel.

02

Acting Through Song

Every lyric has a specific intention. We make them yours — connecting objective, emotional stakes, and physical behavior so your songs stop feeling generalized and start genuinely landing.

03

Audition Preparation

Song selection, audition cuts, presentation choices, and material shaping — tailored to show casting directors exactly who you are and why you're the one they should call back.

04

Concerts & Cabarets

Refine repertoire for live performance with stronger storytelling, better pacing, and the confidence that comes from knowing your material is as good as it can be before you step onstage.

05

Original Songs & New Work

Develop your own material with guidance on vocal delivery, performance choices, and how to communicate your artistic voice clearly. With my background in songwriting, I speak both languages.

06

College & OCSA Auditions

As an OCSA alumnus and former faculty member with deep connections to top college theatre programs, OCSA and college audition prep is one of my specialties. I know what these programs look for.

Specific.
Practical.
Fast.

Lessons are focused, efficient, and highly personalized. We don't stay vague. We identify the issue, address the cause, and apply the change directly to material that matters to you.

Rapid vocal diagnosis

I can quickly identify the technical adjustments that will make the biggest difference in pitch, breath coordination, resonance, vibrato, placement, and overall vocal freedom — often in the first session.

Acting that supports the voice

Acting choices that fight the voice are extremely common. I help you find the ones that strengthen it — where your intention, lyric specificity, and physical life all work together, not against each other.

Applied to real material — always

This is not endless abstract warmup work. Every concept gets applied directly to songs, auditions, performances, and the material that actually matters to your goals.

A writer's ear for music and story

With a Berklee M.F.A. in Musical Theatre Writing, training in songwriting and music production, and original musicals in development, I understand how the music itself supports emotion, structure, and dramatic impact.

Honest, high-level coaching

I'm direct, encouraging, and serious about your improvement. The goal is not to make you feel good in the lesson. The goal is to make you better — and to make that improvement audible and real.
